So. Again to the random stragglers who happened to misclick some picture on the main page and end up on my site: Hello
A quick introduction to myself: I am a 20 something year old guy who aspired in art while equally conflicted to play music, graduated from UCR as an Econ Major. (Spread thin much?)
I did crappily in school, but managed to get it together and graduate.
Immediately I started working and saving for art school. In the meantime however, I went to different classes and followed tutorials here and there. It is only recently however, that I started to break open my bank to pay for classes that cost more than community college classes
To my "many" "loyal" "followers," and I use all three terms lightly:
In case you've wondered where I've been and what I've done in my absinthe
Still taking figure drawing workshop classes.
Stumbled upon
redenginestudios.blogspot.com/Enrolled and took 2 classes on Environment (both similar though with different emphases
Took 1 class on Character Design
I guess that makes me a full time worker and student.
I'm still not in a place where I'm happy with my art, and in many ways I feel inadequate. My education history is a ragtag curriculum, best described as "getting whatever classes I can while working a fulltime job." However in the meantime I can't deny I've improved immensely, and I feel like I have a better idea of skill level I want to achieve. I know the exercises I need to do and a direction to head.
No place to go but up I guess.
